The Original Inferno in the Brunswick line...been out of it 6+years and I loved that ball.

Still trying to find that match up myself! Loaded Revolver is a little stronger, but I would say that the Anaconda is your best bet, but they won't be around for much longer...

If you can find a Rattler out there it has the same cover. It hasn't been discontinued too long, so maybe you can get your hands on one.

The Loaded Revolver should be close, just maybe a little stronger.

I like the anaconda or diamondback and adjust the surface of either to fine tune it.

The Anaconda's specs are similar to the Inferno, but the Diamondback has the same coverstock and close specs to the Inferno. The Anaconda does use the Inferno type core with the Absolute Inferno coverstock. Just my $.02, Bruce

For dry: If you can get a hold of a green avalanche on closeout it is so money!

If you want to move in and hook it, the karma pearl has the chops and length to really help you out. The damage is long, but not as strong off the spot. I have liked the urethane avalanche without the polish for playing outside angles. Its a ball that is super slow off the friction and is great for squaring up your angles.

The Diamondback has the same cover as the Ultimate Inferno, which is a solid. The original Inferno was the pearl and the Rattler uses that cover. The Anaconda is a remake of the Absolute Inferno, which is close, but the cover handles a bit more oil than the original.

For light to dry I have a slingshot drilled with a 2 inch pin to pap. I can't say enough good things about this ball and drilling. I have a high rev rate so this combo allows me to stay right most of the time. The hit and carry is excellent.

I have a Blue/Green Power Groove Pearl with PK17, but still need something weaker than that.

Choices seem to be: Slingshot, Avalanche Urethane or Avalanche Green.

Stroker with about 275 RPM and 13.5 to 14 mph ball speed.

Anaconda is still your best bet. Same core and just a bit of surface tweeking from the original inferno. Loaded revolver has some similarities and is probably a bit stronger, but less versatile because it likes to make too quick a move on the back end.

Avalanche Green/Black Pearl uses PK18 and is stronger and earlier than the PG.

The Slingshot is weaker than the PG due to the core having less flare.

I have a Slingshot and an Avalanche Urethane drilled identically, pin over ring, CG stacked below. Both are control balls with an even arc, on the lightest oil than you can still use a resin ball. For me and my release, they handle the same amount of oil, with a very similar reaction. Only when the backends are long and dry does the Slingshot give the slightest hint of having more than an arc. Even then the Avalanche Urethane continues its urethane ways - arcing forever. Both still hit on the dry.

For the Inferno,Rattler would be a great choice if you could find one. I just sold my last one yesterday.

Python maybe very close as well. We have those.

As far as dry lanes go depends on your style.

C System 4.5 is a good one with the taller core in it, and weaker cover.

Karma Pearl and Slingshot are safe bets as well.
