Usually smoothest results are created with a particle coverstock. For this I would recommend a Goliath with the surface taken to 2000 then shined up or just try the new Ambush. I really like mine so far. The Ambush is the best ball I've thrown for blending out a fresh wet/dry condition and for when I want to tame down the backends when their clean.

A sheen Monster Bruiser is a VERY smooth transitioning ball.

The Eliminator was another smooth ball.

I will second a polished Ultimate Inferno and the BVP Ambush. My Ultimate started to rev up with minimal effort and just provided a smooth, strong arc all the way through the deck. It was also one of the more hard-hitting pieces I've thrown. I saw the Ambush this past weekend at a senior regional, and it was pretty damn smooth as well.
