Getting ready for my first experience on the sport shot!
« on: November 20, 2007, 09:18:25 AM »
I am trying to qualify to go to Junior Gold next year so I will be competing in a qualifying tournament coming December 2nd.  I am excited and at the same time a little worried that I will completely wipe out.  I have converted to shooting all my spares with my spare ball and my average has gone up from a 184 to a 194 from last season.  Equipment is very important and I just wanted to see what you guys would suggest to make sure that I could cover a wide range of the shots that they may lay down.  I have also learned a couple of different hand releases so that should come in handy.

So far I have the Total Inferno ( Heavier side of medium/high oil) , Black Widow (Medium oil), Rampage (Light Oil).  What advice do you have before I go?

If it was the Chameleon for me ths shot was 15 to 8 with a Hammer Blue Vibe drilled for the cheetah pattern. Pin about 2-3 inches right of ring finger and half inch down with cg kicked in toward my palm.
