could try a Classic Zone...I have pretty good luck on lighter conditions with a highly polished Strike Zone

If your medium-to-light-oil conditions are choppy in the front, you might want to consider a reactive Power Groove.

I have a Bionic Zone SS Extreme--one of their overseas releases, I got mine off ebay, but bowlingball.com has some I believe. The ball is great when the oil is lighter or has broken down. The only problem for me is I hardly ever need to use it, too much oil in y center and lots of carrydown. IN my 4 ball bag I break it out when nothing else in my bag is doing anything for me, and when I do take it out , I can string strikes with it. I ended up getting one for my brother for Christmas last year and he is a 200+ avg bowler , and he loves the ball when the lanes aren't so heavily oiled.

I'd look into the White Pin Smokin, Red Pin Zone Classic or the Power Groove reactive.

Smokin' Inferno for more medium. Power Groove Dry/R for dryer conditions.

I personally find the Smokin' Inferno to be much more aggressive than what most people claim. I find that when the shot breaks down, a correctly drilled Blazing Inferno is the Ace in the Hole. Great through the heads and midlane with a wicked backend reaction that cause great pin carry. I've never seen a ball throw pins around like my Blazing Inferno. Also, a key point is that I find it hard to get the ball to over react. Even when playing semi-straight and my high revs, (390-420) the ball holds line until the end where it makes a nice snap to the pocket.

Just be sure to pick up a proper Blazing and not one of the two blems. Should be just the thing you're looking for in situations with lighter oil conditions and outside of the BVP line.

Good Luck!

You're right about the regular smokin' being a bit too aggressive off the dry...I also think that the white pin version is a bit smoother and will go longer than the original (as long as it's drilled for more length). Mine is perfect for the broken down shots and all but the driest of conditions.

I echo loudstriker. I have tried out two different Blazing's and on the right conditions, they just disintegrate racks.

Hey Brunsbob! How about a BVP or Zone ball that is High RG, Low Diff for the future?

Power Groove Pearl. It does not get any better for light conditions.
