First series with my Absolute: 798
« on: September 22, 2006, 03:06:03 AM »
Went 279-251-268 = 798 last night in league. This was the first time I've ever used my Absolute in any kind of competition and I'm VERY impressed with its versatility, especially on a house shot.

I was able to use the ball all night long and move only 4 or 5 boards with the transition the entire time.

Damn 800 has eluded me again!! LOL!

Great shooting........Not too long ago I posted in this forum about my buying an Absolute Inferno and although I didn't shoot any 798's, (I'm not that good or skilled) I have had several high 200's with it as well as 600's with it and I agree with BrooklynSlop in that the Absolute is sooooooo versatile. One of the most versatile balls I have ever had.

Really happy for you! 2 more pins would have been 800.
Last night I played badly I came home with Acidic stomach due to play badly. 191-199-193. We won 2 out of 3 games but I still feel bad. I should have used my Absolute so I can throw it harder instead of slower. Too much oil for my Blazing and Intense but I hesitated switching to Absolute till that 10th frame of the third game got it all strikes by not enough to win.

Very nice bowling.
Better than my first 798, I needed 253 my last game and shot 251...NICE COUNT. Left the 2-8 combo on fill ball.

It will come...

LOL!!! Yep!! I threw a nice high flush 4-9 split on my fill ball last night! Cost me an 800.

On edit: That was in my 2nd game, though... not the last.
