Ive recently dropped to 15lb from 16lb this year
and tried a few things from other companies for heavier oil or longer patterns and most of it was too strong and I got a lot of over reaction out of it
I have a 16lb total inferno drilled cg center line in the middle of my grip wit the pin out 45 degrees right of the ring finger about an 1" or so off the ring finger
Im looking for something from Brunswick that will react the same for being that I cant find any NIB total inferno's for a decent price
so any info on some current Brunswick equipment thats out right now that would be similar ?
I havent really paid attention to much of Brunswicks new stuff at all

Wild Card or scuffed Wild Thing would probably be the closest.
IME both of these balls are stronger at the break, and better through the pins, than the Total was.

The Rattler is the Inferno line reincarnated.

The Total Inferno was unique, but you may be able to get close with a Diamondback at the right surface. I had some great success with the Total, but I like the Diamondback more. The 2000 finish from the factory was early and smooth. I now have mine at 4000 (for what I usually see) and it covers a lot of ground with good carry. Great value!

Here is living proof that different conditions we all bowl on (as well as bowler style) make a huge difference.
RSalas is a great bowler, and a nice guy, from the Bay area of California. I respect his analysis a great deal. But MY Total rolled like a particle ball - early, early, and very smooth. His seemed different. Where there different versions? I don't know.

i can definitely see a scuffed Wild Thing being the closest you could get to a Total Inferno. Ive seen plenty of Totals thrown and i can see some similarities with the Wild Thing so my vote goes for that.

IMHO, the Total Inferno was quite unique. With its VERY low RG core, it would roll and rev up quickly. Additionally, even though it was never admitted officially, I have the impression that the Octane Gription coverstock contains some particle, judging the way it moves.
IMO very hard to find a similar piece in the current line up, or even in Brunswick's history. My vote would go to the Diamondback, too, or maybe a Siege with a rolly and arcing layout. An Awesome Revs from MoRich could also be an option.
