Whats the grit polished on the Radical Inferno?
« on: August 29, 2006, 05:47:01 AM »
In my first week of league I threw my Thunderstruck Solid that has a 2 inch pin and is 1500 grit polished. The Radical was a bit jumpy off the backend and it has a 3-4 pin. I love my Thunderstruck Solid and thought about taking it to 4000 polished OR changing the grit on the Radical. I had to play 15-5, 20-5, and then 30-5 the last game. I think that last game I could throw the Radical on a tight line since the carry down came along, but if I wanted to pull this ball out first what should I try first as in taking the grit polished up to? Post ALL opinions. Thanks!

the paperwork says to knock the shine off then take it up to 1000 grit abralon or higher in steps if you need more from the ball.

Thanks guys. My Thunderstruck is gold on any house shot and IMO it will be one of the best benchmark balls ever. I really like the Radical too and I figured I might experiment with it and compare it on the same house shot as my Thunderstruck. Thanks again!

Sorry to be off topic with this post but I had to respond to this guy.

My dad just bought a Storm ThunderStruck The deep purple that smells like Grape, Strongly! He used it for the last 2 weeks of PBA Switch the shot. The shot was the Cheetah pattern, he went 582 1st week to 657 the 2nd week. Last night on a fresh house shot he shot his 2nd ever 700 series with it. The 1st one he shot, he used a Ebonite Gyro! He has not shot a sanctioned 700 series yet, this ball for my father is something that nick says....ohh "this ball is sooo money!" Hes shot 1 700 series, I feel this ball will be his 700 santioned getter for him as its just sooo smooth and predictable. When I watch him roll it, I can just watch the ball rev up then makes its move, I can say exactly when its going to turn and how much! If storm hasnt been so bad to me in the last 6 months id think about getting one.

Sorry to be off topic here!
