Hey BR Family,

Just wanted to chime in on a Mid Price piece from Brunswick.
I recently punched up a Brunswick Rampage with the Pin above
ring finger and CG stacked below just above midline with no X-hole.

I knew from conversations with members here and with friends that have
this ball that it is known to be stronger than advertised.

Geez, were they right. Even with a 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 drilling for me, this
ball had some major guts on the backend.

I was hoping to get more length out of it with the pin up. Maybe I should've
tried a 5"-5 1/2" pin to Pap distance, but I'm not complaining.

On a normal Crowned House Shot with Slight OOB around 5-gutter, the ball
clears the heads with ease, but you can tell this ball wants to stand up
and change direction once it touches dry. This ball is very continuous
and the hit is great.

I will have to experiment with this ball more on different conditions and
surfaces. I am also contemplating punching a hole to tame the backend
reaction a bit, but not sure yet.

Overall, I can't believe this is a mid-priced ball. This peformance of this
ball just kinda baffled me! Thanks for reading.

Best Regards,
Rammy Hagar

BVP Ambush does the same thing.. 99$ for that kind of ball and its reaction on the lanes - is worth over 200$ - i love the ball alot.

I'm in love with my Rampage too.  Pic is in profile, drilled 5 1/2 by 5.  I've used it on house conditions, shot 698 at Narionals with it, and used during multiple tourney patterns.  It really shines when I can play a small swing it, plenty of length to push on all but the driest of dry, and plenty of backend as well.
