Hi,
I'm trying to find finishes on older Brunswick bowling balls. We have a Haus machine and are doing resurfacing. Most of the balls will just say polished.
Is there a way to find out without asking everytime?
Looking for finish on Classic Zone. I'm guessing its 800 polished
Thanks

IIRC, Brunswick uses 400 grit + polish on their factory finished equipment, Zone Classic included.

The Classic Zone was 400-grit sanded followed by Brunswick's High Gloss polish. Most of their equipment in the last four or five years used their standard finishes: 400-grit polished, 220-grit Rough Buff, or whatever dull grit they specify (usually 400-grit, 600-grit, and 800-grit).
Older than that and I think their "polished" finish was a 3M Rubbing Compound or Finesse-IT. Some particle balls used Trizact, though they specified which TZ pad they used (some # micron).

Try this link on older Brunswick balls:

It mentions the High Gloss Polish, but I don't know if it says what they did before the polish...
