I liked Sean Rash coming into the show, but now really hate him. He was such an arrogant biotch. I know that the pba pros are encouraged to make the tv finals a show, but he really went beyond that, attacking Wiseman as the hometown favorite, and celebrating to excess after he blew out parker, and knew that he was going to win.
As far as Parker, my favorite pro to watch goes, it really seemed pretty simple as to what he had to do. When he struck in the first match he was sending it to the breakpoint at a pretty shallow angle, but when he left those flat tens and pocket 7-10 he was getting the ball out to the friction late, and coming in behind the pocket. At this point it seemed like he had two options, project the ball out more and go with the Total or cut down on his angle and stay with the Absolute. He pulled out the vapor and stayed shallow, and I figured that that wasn't that bad an option, especially with such a low pin on the vapor, but the length/volume of the pattern must have been such that the Vapor still got long and cut at the breakpoint. It seemed too strong at the spot.
He had problems with ball reaction, but is still great at repeating shots, in fact one of the best out there. Rash just walked into the line and stayed there and that was the difference. I figure that if parker started with the total, and saw that it was too strong, he too would have migrated in and found the line.
