I am starting to switch to using Big B primarily. I have a Strike Zone and Vapor Zone, both drilled with a 4 1/2" pin to axis, 65 degree layout, 3 3/4" above the midline.
What ball in the current lineup would you pick to go under the Vapor? Red Zone? Rampage? What are the differences in reaction of these two balls? What type of layout would you suggest?
I already have a ball similar to the Punisher (Track Desert Heat). It is quite angular at the breakpoint, which tends to not be what I need on drier conditions, most times.
Here are my specs:
Ball speed: 16-17 mph
Axis point: 4 7/8 right 1 3/8" up
Axis Rotation: 75 degrees
Tilt: 17 degrees
Revs: Medium
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

The Rampage would be a great fit with your current arsenal. It would fit right between the Zones and the Desert Heat. I would call the Rampage a "tamer" Vapor Zone. It clears the heads better but still has a heavy roll but with less overall hook. For a pearl reactive, it rolls fairly smooth and predictable.

Steven,
Thanks for the reply. What type of layout would you suggest on the Rampage? I have had quite a bit of success with the layout I posted in my original message. I would want to be sure this ball wasn't very angular at the breakpoint and jump off the dry, on a drier condition. My Desert Heat seems to do that, even with a weaker core.
I am guessing that I might want a somewhat more controlled reaction on the backend, with drier conditions? What do you think?
Thanks

Classic Zone.
