Which is the CG?
« on: October 12, 2006, 06:35:51 PM »
Hi all,

I recently purchased an Absoloute inferno and I am a tad confused as to where the cg is located. Why there shows 2 punch marks approximately 1/2 inch apart. 1 is just a punched(little dot) in the coverstock like I see on most Brunswick balls, but the other is the same but it is green like the pin.  The driller went with the green one. Is this how Brunswick is marking the CG's now? The only reason that I ask is because if its the case of it being the punch with no color, it would put the MB on the left of my thumb(I'm a righty) and that is not what I wanted.

Thanks guys,
BMM

I wouldn't worry about it, sometimes when you get double stamped CGs, it is because the ball wasn't completely done balancing itself before the punch.

The Absolute doesn't have a measureable mass bias diff, so don't take into account the "imaginary mass bias".

James, don't worry about the CG or imaginary MB.  If there is no weighthole, the reaction will be the same.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna throw it this weekend, I'll let you know how I like it. I hope it looks as good off of my hand as the Vapor zone.
