Loaded revolver = Hybrid?
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:27:58 PM »
Somewhere I've seen comments that the covestock (Propel X) on the Loaded revolver could possibly be a hybrid.

I didn't get that impression, my impression is that the ball is rather smooth or very continous off the spot.

I've always perceived hybrids to be very quick off the spot?

Brunswick experts?  Propel X = even close to a hybrid?

The reason I ask,,,IS I saw another post stating that belief.  My belief not as jumpy as a hybrid usually is!

But to me, Propel X looks like a very clean and smooth coverstock.  Sort of reminds me of the stuff a long time ago on the Command Zone, but less polished.

What was that called Powerstock?

I always assumed it was the Propel Pearl from the Wicked Siege moved to the lower price point. The Lethal Revolver that followed states it is the Propel Solid.

Shoot an email to Brunswick or call, it would be faster.

Oh I agree it is exactly the same stuff as on the Wicked Siege, they are both described as Propel X.

I will try your idea of an email.

Thanks,

The Siege used the Propel cover stock then came Propel Pearl for the Evil Siege, then Propel X for the Wicked Siege and Loaded Revolver. Owning several of the Wicked's I would say it is a pearl cover stock. It could be somewhat of a hybrid as well but I think it would be splitting hairs at that point. The Lethal Revolver stats for sure Propel X solid.
