Title: Who is your favourite PBA player...

Mine is Bill Rowe because he's a fellow Canadian. Eventhough he's entering his second stint with the tour and hasn't bowled in any tournaments yet (aside from qualifying), he gives me someone to look up to.

Post by: Walking E on August 11, 2004, 01:35:15 PM: Pete Weber, because I always thought he threw the best ball, plus I tend to root for anti-authority guys with attitude. But I admit that Pete can also come across as an unlikeable jerk at times (escecially in his match against Mike Haugen).

Robert Smith, because he's from Southern California and he has great game.

Bryan Goebel, because he lofts the ball like I do, plus he seems like a good guy.

Mike Haugen, because I like his cool "hipster" style, plus he's also a SoCal guy.

Post by: bowlerstyle on August 11, 2004, 01:45:17 PM: Parker Bohn III, no doubt about it. His form and timing, and everything is just an awe to watch. Everything is so precise. I hear they tested everyone's ball speed consistency on the PBA and he was number 1 by far. His ball speed stayed within something like .3 mph of each ball and most of them were the same exact speed. But then who can't love Pete Weber with his great signs of expression towards the other bowlers. I think he uses that to play some sort of mental game on his opponets, but hey, it makes it fun to watch. I might have said Walter Ray Jr. but that guy just has some serious attitude problems, especially towards his fans. I think his problem is that his wife must not be putting out. I guess that's what happens when you get old.......... OH GEEZES I DON'T WANNA BE OLD.....AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

The pro I respect the most is Norm Duke just because he can do anything and everything possible with a bowling ball. On the regional/local pro scene I love watching Kenny Lowe JR.(East region), Tony Walton(East Region), Jim Lewis(East/South Region), and Danny Wiseman(MD resident) bowl just because they're the hometown guys and the guys I've grown up watching in local bowling alleys.

My fave at the moment is Tommy Jones, just because I've seen him up close and personal on the regional tour for the last 2 years, kid is flat out gifted.

Post by: TheDude on August 12, 2004, 11:54:31 PM: If you want to go canadian, there is an alternative. A very nice guy from eastern quebec won his spot on tour and finished 2nd in tour trials. figure out who he is. Oh and by the way he is infact on brunswick's Prostaff.

My personal Favorite are the man i am speaking of, and of Course still mika K. Now using Big B as well.
