Any rumors abot the new high performance line?
« on: February 27, 2006, 06:24:22 PM »
Yes, these threads are always popular... but seriously: any rumors about the new line that is to replace the Infernos? I heard (not from valid sources, though), that there was something to be expected in summer this year, and that it was not another Inferno.

Besides, this situation has been going on for over a year, and personalyl I think it is time for something new.

Opinions, ideas, suggestions, information?

Ooh!  Ooh!  I know!  The Disco Inferno and the Towering Inferno.

No, wait.  That's the same line.  Darn.

i've heard that the rumours flying out there is that brunswick is going to produce balls in the zone line but on a high performance level.  to me, it makes sense that since Brunswick has already produced balls like the strike zone and vapor zone which has the characteristics of the UI and AI. i don't see as to why they would not continue to expand this line.

The one thing I can add is that there will not be any new releases in the BVP line, Zone line, or high performance until this summer at Bowl EXPO.

Wild Inferno, Extreme Inferno, Disco Inferno (my favorite), there are just too many possibilities, and i talked to a brunswick rep today at my pro shop and he said he hasn't heard of anymore new balls coming out but he said this, "Just remember the inferno line isn't dead, you will see another ball from the line." and thats it

Flamed Out Inferno or Smoldering Inferno. To end the line.

They'll make one more inferno, probably a particle and then they'll run with the line as long as they can because of the sucess it has had. I doubt a new performance line will come any time soon.

For the info from the insider, he said Big-B will put more effort on
the Zone series in 2006. They want to capture more asymmetric core
market like the inferno series. So a high performance asymmetric series
is possible.
