Why IS BrunsNick on staff?

If that was the case for you, you would actually get kicked off Brunswicks staff. Actually whats more suprising is that you even on their regional staff? Very few top 16 runs on the regional tour, no wins.. how many people do you know on the inside that make sure you stay on staff? Especially since Brunswick is one of the, if not THE, hardest company to get on staff with!

You wanna question Lane #1.. now lets question you!

(And no comments how I'm not on staff.. I'm also 19, still a junior bowler, and I never wanna be on staff.. even if I ever got to the point where I could.)


I am definitely not the best bowler in my Region. I definitely don't have any titles. I don't make very many finals...

So why bother putting a donk like me on staff?!?!

Yeah, it wouldn't be the same without Nick.  I mean, we gotta have somebody around to help stop the spreading of ignorance that comes from the Lane 1 forum and teach people what's really going on.

Let me go on record as one who appreciates Nick, too. His website is full of good information, and his posts (answers) to the SERIOUS questions that are asked here are appreciated.

Sure, he has a sense of humor. It's just his personality. With all the people so willing to bash Brunswick (for whatever reason) he's a target, and like any other human can get tired of taking shots from 17 year old "Einsteins" who have all the answers.

Keep up the good work, and stop by if you're ever in the Salt Lake area, Nick. Or come down with Rico for some golf with friends.

For those who do not like Nick's cockiness, you just don't get it. After having met Nick, he's a decent guy who likes to have fun. And while he does like to take jabs at folks, it usually because they're too bullheaded to see other sides of discussions or they "chum the water" and Nick is the shark.

All that said, he have never left me hanging with a technical question even  though I am more brand loyal to Hammer, is very knowledgeable, gives good demonstrations of how equipment reacts with certain drillings, has a great sense of humor, and his talent level versus a majority of us is definitely higher. He a better ambassador than some of the actual pros. If Brunswick didn't genenrally think that same way, he would be a staffer...period

Does he rub some of you the wrong way? Sure. However, some of you bring it on yourselves.

I haven't bought any Brunswick but I watch everything on his site.  Funny stuff and in this day and age who doesn't like funny.  Hell Oprah mentioned him the other day and she switched from Lane 1 as did the entire female bowling population!

Mostly, people are showing love here.

I don't like everyone I have ever met or heard of, but why is everyone so gosh darn sensitive nowadays? Who cares if you don't like somebody, or if you do? Are they hurting you, through the INTERNET? Probably not. Let the man, and all men,(and women) do their thing. Who really gives a S if somebody wants to talk crap anyway? Especially if they support thier positions with facts and knowledge.

Does anyone see what Nick does for Brunswick?!?!?!?!?!

He puts a tun of time and effort into his site.
(which I might say is great)

I dont even know Nick.
Talked to him once or twice on here and thats it.
I see passion for the progreesion of the bowling business.
He has my respect for that.

Its not always scores that gets you on staff.

Sorry but personality is a big reason.

Salesmanship too.
