Bye Columbia, hellooo BIG B!
« on: August 18, 2005, 12:53:17 PM »
Yep, that's rite.  I'm going Brunswick now.

I went to the pro shop today, and my coach recommended I throw 14 lbs.  Quite a big jump, from 12 to 14.  Then I had a choice of a new ball, and my coach recommended an Impulse Zone.  Yay!  I'm probably gonna get it and drill it next week.  Right now, my coach drilled me up a new Target Zone, with my new span being 4 7/16ths and 4 1/4.

Yaaaay! The Brunswick Nation!

Why does everybody have more balls than me?

That seems like an odd span, 3/16" difference.  Then again everyone is different..

BTW Hammer, get a red pin off ebay.  I got mine for 46 shipped.

Brunswick is all I throw and I couldn't be more happy. Absolute, Intense, Blazing, and Crown Jewel. Just waiting to get my Original.

Detour Kid will be receiving a 'hand-me-down' Power Groove Silver/Purple courtesy of me.

I'm also supposed to be getting a ball at the end of my summer league, but my dad's like, "you have too many balls...I want you to let your brother have a ball," so I guess Detour Kid will end up with an Impluse Zone, Zone Classic, Power Groove, and Target Zone.

...When I was 12, I only had 1 ball....

i've thrown nothing but brunswick for the last 10 years and wouldn't think of using anything else. although i have spent a lot of time practicing i feel their equipment has made the diffference. no, i am not paid to use their equipment. my pro shop operator does give me a generous discount though---but that's on everything he sells. anyone who has known me for a number of years will tell you that i don't spend money unwisely. i don't mind spending money provided it's on quality merchandise. the fact that brunswick isn't giving me free equipment and yet their's is the only brand i'll use should say a lot.
