the whole point of that was to get people to go out and buy it. If people see sean rash holding a spiral visaball people will want to go buy one. If they see him using a total inferno, they will want to go buy one. It's all a matter of hyping the company. It's what he is paid  to do, whether or not you may agree with what happens.
