Does Brunswick send out balls thrown by throwbot?

I got my TI last night, havent drilled it, but i noticed there is 1 small nick in the ball, as well as a few scuff marks, such as the ones u get when a ball is thrown.  This is nothing major, & i dont really care either way, this is just the first ball ive seen come out of the box with scuffs & a small scratch.

thats what i always thought about throwbot too, but i swear in the USBC commercial i saw throwbot tossing an undrilled ball.  

I think throwbot would throw an undrilled ball, simply because as far as i know, noone positions the ball in throwbot, it just picks the ball up off the rack, which means even if it was drilled, it would track in a completely different spot every time.

Maybe its from the procedur when they test the balls. the bounce them on some type of plastic a couple of time to see that the dont break directly. I have had a vid when they did it..seems that i have lost it

I suspect that your TI has some shipping scratches on it.

When we use Throwbot, we have to drill 2 small holes on either side of the ball to hold it in place.

In addition, the machine you see in the USBC comercial is NOT Throwbot. That is a machine that the USBC has developed for their own testing.

I wonder...would a "pre-thrown by Throbot" ball command a higher price?
