First, thanks to Brunsnick and Big B for providing the ball for review. Also thanks to Chris at Buddies for the layout and drilling.

I only have a few games on the ball, so at this point this is a mini review. I will add to the review and shoot from video in the next week so so.

This league uses a custom Kegel pattern, 42 ft, 24.32 ml oil. I don''t have the ratios on hand but it''s been playing very slick on the left side. I''ve been using a Revolver (60 x 3 1/4 x 30 double thumb hole) and a Swagga (45 x 4 1/2 x 45 P 2.5 hole.)

Our center puts out the league shot for practice. I threw a two games with the Wicked and I was very impressed with the ball. The first thing I noticed was how well the ball rolled at the end of the pattern. For me, it''s easy to throw through the break point on this pattern. The next thing is the backend shape. This ball moves a ton on the backend however it''s controllable, strong arc. I''m no pro bowler, I missed a few shots inside and outside and the ball still carried.

Fast forward to league night. After my first session with the Wicked, I was all set to bowl 800. Didn''t happen. During warm ups I threw the Wicked and the Revolver and it was apparent I should start with the Revolver. (side bar: these two balls might be a potent combo) However, new ball-itis is particular strong when you have an unreleased ball in your hands. After six frames the Wicked went back into the bag.

More to come next week...
