Are you sure ?
i remember a polish cover when i drilled the ball no matte finish.

I have the drilling sheet somewhere, I think. Ball had OOB a semi-matte shine, but if I remember correctly it was stated as 4.000 grit (which tends, as factory finish, to look shinier than a hand-made finish) - no polish or Rough Buff involved.

I'll cross-check it.

The oob should be wet sand 400 + High Gloss polish.

That's the earlier pearl version.

Unfortunately, I could not find the Dry Zone Solid's drill sheet anymore in my archive. But I am still positive that it is 4.000 Abralon OOB.
In a local pro shop one is still on display, and it is definitively not shiny/glossy, rather sheen.

Sorry that I cannot confirm this with official material, though

Hi Dizzy, I have the ball too. It should be wet sand 400 + high gloss polish. Still can find the info on Brunswick's Korea web.
