That depends upon the lane surface and the amount of oil. Newer synthetic lanes are VERY hard and smooth.....especially the ones from Brunswick. Any decent amount of oil can make them slick. The 3.5 is obviously not meant for medium to dry conditions but can be very useful if set-up properly.
