Wicked Siege Video
« on: October 26, 2010, 06:59:44 AM »
Okay guys here is just a brief review as I only got had to use it one game last night.  I''''''''ll post a video and do a more extensive review in the coming week.
My stats:
350ish rev rate
18-19 mph
pap 5 1/4 over

Ball 2.5 inch pin OOB surface
Drilling 70 x 5 1/8 x 20  no hole

So like I said I only had to use it for one game and it was the last game of league last night.  It was def right out of the box.  I threw it some in game 2 but i was struggling with carry so much and getting used to the ball I rather not post a review with that game included.  So anyways, this ball was drilled to go long and then turn up for those broken down shots.  It served its purpose well.  It got about 45 ft down the lane and then turned up and crushed the pins.  I was 5 and 2 left of the c system 2.5 drilled rico.  This ball had no problem turning the corner and kicking out the 10 which is what I had been struggling to do recently.  One ringing 10 and a pulled big four didnt help but still managed to shoot 224 for the game when i had been struggling to shoot 200.

I''''''''ll get a video up sometime next week.

Gotta send a much needed thank you to Brunsnick for the contest and Brunswick for producing something truly Wicked.

Update
Threw it on a 40 ft typical house shot for practice.  First practice time I''''''''ve for two weeks.

Okay here is what I saw.  I had some miss room to the right.  My accuracy was off but hey its a typical house shot.  The ball got through the heads with ease and stored a lot of energy for the backend.  I was able to move both left and right, and if you remember was a strong point of the original siege.  Compared to the C system 2.5, the Wicked Siege had a later and sharper breakpoint perfect for those broken down conditions.  The C System was earlier and much smoother, and had a hard time making the corner as was seen in the video when moving in.  Enjoy the video and willing to hear any suggestions about it or my form.

Thanks again to Brunsnick for the contest and Brunswick Bowling!
