C-Systems 3.5 vs. Mission

can anyone compare these 2 balls, as to mid lane & backend reactions.

i have the mission & wanted to know how it compares to the 3.5
mission is pin up wanted to try a pin down drilling on the 3.5  60x5.5x70

looking for a stronger mid lane reaction & a continuous back end, not a skid snap.

The 3.5 will be stronger.. The Mission is designed for medium oil and the 3.5 is for heavier oil conditions.

I have a 3.5 and it is more of an arc type ball.

The pin is just below and to the right of the ring finger cg out and mass bias down and to the right of the thumb..

... And that is the diffrerence between pin up vs. pin down layouts. Once it encounters friction, the pin up ball will respond faster and more abruptly, assuming the cover is also prepped accordingly.

When deciding pin up or down for myself I try to decide whether a I want a more smooth backend or more angular one. Length through the heads can largely be tweaked through surface changes (within limits).

just picked up my 3.5, threw it for about 25-30 shots on a burnt up shot. rolled very nice and hit hard, left a few ringing 10 pins. have to get used to my new span and going to no inserts. also plugged my mission and drilled pin down. that ball is a beast could not keep it on the right side.  will see what they both do on my 44' shot i bowl on sunday morn. if these work i will plug and redrill my jacked pin down.

3.5 is amazing. Moves through the front like storm but had good midlane and backend

Im currently having issues with my 3.5, its WAY too long & angular for me at box surface, & entirely too strong at any lower grit.

I think im trading it away....might give it a chance tonight, but im not sure.

Try a lower grit with some polish on top. I currently have mine a 1000 with brunswick high gloss on top. It still get good length but its much smoother off the friction.

In my opinion the 2.5 is easier to use on the house shots that most of us see.

The 3.5 fills a unique spot as long as there's some volume on the lanes. It handles more oil than most pearls, and when matched up properly, will hit better than many solids.

How much volume can the 3.5 handle? I'm trying to decide what to use as my heavy oil asymmetric piece the 3.5 or the Invasion?

I saw someone in my league throwing the 3.5 last night and I was quite impressed with it.

I have a Bounty Hunter currently, how would the 3.5 compare to the BH?

For heavy oil throw a seismic aftermath.

If not then you cannot go wrong with a 3.5. It will handle any amount of oil you want
