It's one of the new international balls. Does anyone have any idea what ball this is like? Was thinking about picking one up. Thanks in advance.

When you compare the numbers it has a little more hook potential the the Wild Ride and isn't as sharp off the break point.

Yes, they offer different core cover combinations. They have every ball we do plus many we don''t.
I just got the Diamondback Pearl and can''t wait to throw it. Not the same ball as the Diamondback solid that is for sure.
If you compare the numbers that Brunswick gives for each ball on overall hook, breakpoint and length you can see that having more balls creates a smaller performance gap between balls and product lines.
Bowling is that much more popular overseas that they sell more and produce more then here in the U.S. Goes for almost every company. They all produce more total bowling balls for overseas market then for here.

The Wild Fire is copy from the Zone Classic.

Wouldn't a Diamondback Pearl be a Rattler?

They have different covers, this was discussed in another thread. The rattler has activator and the DBP has activator +.

Sorry, kid. Just don't think there is that much of a difference.
I didn't say there was a huge difference but it isn't a copy. With different hook rating, length characteristics and core rg numbers its hard to say its the same ball.
Rattler HP 125 DBP HP 145 Rattler Length 110 DBP Length 120
Rattler Break Point 85 DBP Break point 85
Is it a huge difference, maybe not. But It will not doubt be a stronger ball then the rattler. It has a bigger difference in HP then going from the 2.5 to th 3.5.

Kid, i think what lots said was aim on Wild Fire and ZC i/s/o Rattler and DBP.

They call it a Zone Classic core. The number aren't that different with the length being the same number: 110 Breakpoint shape is higher for the ZC 85 to 75, but the WF has a higher Hook Rating: 135 to 115 and that's the biggest difference. The WF is a little higher RG and lower Diff. Similar balls, but different all the same. Plus, you can't get the Zone Classic any more and I like the color of the Wild Fire!
