Wild Ride Drilling
« on: March 24, 2010, 10:59:19 PM »
I won a Wild Ride in a raffle with a 4/half in pin. Looking at the drill sheet and being a high tracker/stroker normally play around 8/10 board down and in i was thinking of going with pin above and CG out an inch or so. What kind of reaction would i get with this setup. Thanks

Hey, Super,

What is the distance from the pin to the cg?  Reason, is that in order to do a flare incresing hole, you need to have the cg BELOW the center line and have a decent amount of thumb weight BEFORE you put the hole in it.

Thanks Two Hands most of the Cgs on my other balls are in the centre of my grip pin above to the right and cg down and a liitle to the left. I'm not sure on the thumb weight on each of them but if i got a flare hole in one or some of them would this give me more flare and a stronger reaction at the backend. Should a stroker like me have that kind of setup..pin above and Cg kicked out to the right with a flare hole to get more finish on the ball. Thanks again
