Rattler drill Question
« on: January 20, 2009, 05:37:00 AM »
Would a short pin (1-2inches) underneath the bridge 5inches to PAP be too much for this ball. I've recently drilled a Twisted Destruction with this layout and love it. But I had a Mammoth (Also Rocket Core) with this layout and for what ever reason was a complete dud. Thanks in advance for your feedback,

The Mammoth was a heavy load particle cover so that may have been the issue more than the layout in my opinion.

To answer your question, no, I don't think that a 5" pin to PAP would be too much. The ball gets easy length, though, so you may even consider going
4 - 4 1/2" from PAP as your profile suggests better than average ball speed, unless you're seeing plenty of dry on the lanes. Good luck.

I just drilled mine today with a 5" pin below and I had to put a weight hole in because it didn't quite flare enough for me. Review to come soon!!
