Wild Ride lovers...

With all the "nay sayers" that are so vocal regarding this ball, is there anyone, besides myself, who has found this ball to be a great addition to the line-up?

Simply put, I've never thrown a stronger pearl reactive, ever! This one handles more oil than any pearl I've ever thrown, yet still finishes strong for me. Carry is good, too. I have mine at about 2000 abralon, since I use it on fresh (rather slick conditions on Pro Anvilane) and it's lay out is strong at 4" from PAP and below the fingers. Having said that, if I don't throw it well it tends to look like any other pearl...

So, if you've had GOOD results with yours let me know some specifics regarding your lane conditions, ball layout, and something about your game. I'd like to know where this ball fits best, and for what type of bowler. Please continue to post any negative comments in the other threads. I have read them and frankly, I am a bit baffled...  Thanks in advance for your replies.

Inverted 1,

Don't misunderstand my post. I recognize that there is NO BALL that will work for everyone!  We all bowl on different conditions and we all throw the ball differently, too.

What I am asking for is where does it work BEST? That's all!

There is no other agenda here...

Dear HmMrDwN103,

Have you noticed that notclay kindly asked us to leave negative comments on other threads? This thread is for the positive feedback! It is also quite obvious from the title.

On a side note, if 5X5 stands for pin-PAP distance and MB-PAP distance, MB should probably be around 70 degrees, which, in my opinion, is a bit higher for this core. It needs to get up earlier than higher diff cores. If that second "5" stands for the CG-PAP distance, than drilling angle would be way to high which leads to skid forever.

Please..

I'm looking for honest feedback based on what people are saying and how they are using their WR..

Look, when the OI came out, there were a ton of rave reviews for the ball and the tour pro were tossing the crap out of them with a great reaction. Ball was money in just about everyones hand and was truly a versitle ball. There was none of this "I polished the bsll after hitting with 1000 grit abralon and had a weak drill pattern on it" crap. Same thing with the AI and UI..

Geez, you're starting to sound like the L#1 froum where all you want is people that will give positive reactions on a new ball.

Keep looking... I'm sure there's a 300 in one of those balls you keep buying!!

OK,
You want a TRUE and HONEST review of this ball???

HERE GOES!!!

Ordered a Wild Ride for Fastracker and it came in. The MB was marked 6 inches from the pin. 6 INCHES!!! Acording to several well known current and former Brunswick guys. The MB "MUST" be 6 3/4" away from the pin on any Wild Ride. So, is Brunswick up to it's mismarking pins again scam??? The MB wouldn't be mismarked becasue they spin every ball right?? SO........I can't tell you how the ball rolls for Brian since he doesn't want to pay full price for another Brunswick BLEM!!! 1000's and 1000's of blems offered all the time. Maybe they are starting to push by close balls because their 1st quality inventory is so low..

LOSING PATIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Undersized balls!!!!
Mismarked Pins and MB's
Double and Triple punched CG's on balls.

I can deal with color variance but when the tech dynamics are a guessing game. We have issues.

Wow this has really went south. 672 views on this thread, and what 4 positive reviews on the ball... That should say something. I have no doubt that the ball was engineered to be awesome, but there is something not going as expected in that Mexico plant. Just to many people complaining about this ball that was supposed to be the next gen in coverstock development. I hope they figure it out, Big B stuff is usually pretty decent. The rattler on the other hand, wow!

Why don't you just make up some BS marketing and sell it as a "rare gem" like you do with the rest of your garbage just to squeeze out some extra bucks?  I saw your post for some used rental shoes.  Are the shoelaces and velcro straps extra?

Wow, I'm sorry I opened this can of worms..

I generally love BigB stuff, but as of late, they seem to be struggling with cover/core issues.

We've had what, 3 or 4 new covers and 3 or 4 new cores since the last Activator formulation and none of them (IMHO) seem to be working out.

What's up with that?? I've always believed that Brunswick has/had some of the finest R&D in the industry. Lately, it's been producing it's fair share of duds..
