Rerelease?
« on: May 29, 2009, 04:12:38 AM »
Has Brunswick re-released the Danger Zone? I'm always on the lookout for one NIB and occasionally find one on EBay. Today I searched and found 3 websites selling them NIB and have them in stock.

They claim they're firsts, not seconds or blems. Anyone?
No, you may not handle my balls. Well....maybe just for a little while.

Yes they did re-release them a couple years back, along with the teal rhino, and original inferno.  They are as close to the originals as possible though.  Tailored a bit more to work on today's conditions.

Do the newer ones compare to the older ones favorably?

i havne't thrown any of these myself but have heard that they are relatively similar.  The Infernos i heard actually seemed to skid a bit more, the teals were okay, and not a whole lot about the dangers

Actually, none of the remakes are "tailored" to todays conditions. They are made exactly like the originals as far as materials and design are concerned. Over the years there have been changes in machinery, but the intent is to make the exact same ball.

Wasn't the Rhino Pro remake the purple and not the teal?

Seeing as how you put the question so nicely I won't be to brutal.  YOU ARE WRONG!  They actually did both but thanks for playing... maybe a little research would help.

Crank, we did a remake of both the Teal and the Purple Rhino Pros for a distributor, just not at the same time. They also had great success with the remake of the Danger Zone.

Now someone just needs to pony up the cash for a Gold Rhino remake

And TLC, hows the new ball coming? I am waiting to see the effects of that dynamic density core.
