Ball to compliment the vapor zone
« on: August 01, 2006, 02:35:57 PM »
What would be a go to ball when the vapor zone starts to hook too much?
I was told a radical inferno or ebonite one.  I am a stroker with slow o moderate speed and moderate revs.  Thanks for your help and response.

Red Zone or Radical would be a good choice.  Both will be longer and more angular than the Vapor.

With your slow ball speed, if you could find a Punisher, that would be even better.  It has the same BVP core as the Rampage and Wizard, but the cover is weaker so it would get down the lane that much easier.  But, at the same time, can still backend pretty well due to the core.  Just my opinion of course.  But I say the Punisher.

I'd also favor a BVP Punisher as a true compliment. TWOHAND834 is IMHI perfectly correct - especially with a slower speed.

The Rampage might be an option, too, but it reads the lane sooner than the Punisher, which has IMHO more "snap" when it hits dry ground.

RZ, RADI and One are pretty strong balls - I'd suspect that they will also quit working well when your VZ does.
