I'm getting some conflicting reports on the loss of reaction from their AI's after several games. I, for one, clean my equipment after each and every use with a homemade concoction of simple green, lane cleaner and water. I've used this with a number of different balls including one from Columbia's Tec-death brigade, a Total Chaos, with zero noticable loss of reaction. So, history is on my side from a cleaning solution and routine maintenance standpoint. Recently, there's been more than a few folks suffering from a little loss of ball reaction. What gives? I don't doubt that these people think that they've lost some punch on their backend. However, is it due to the fact that other people have purchased the latest "game in a box" sphere and are suffering from small hook syndrome? I'm thinking about adding another ball to my arsenal(not a Big B label, but they make the coverstock for this "enriched" product), not because my AI has lost it's punch or carry potential. Just because I can. I'm not looking to re-invent the wheel. I've done this several times throughout the last two or three years. I'm bowling well with a ball(299-209-300-279 my last four), and have chosen to invest some money in a new pill. More times than not, it's turned out great. Besides, if this new ball deosn't pan out, the AI won't hold a grudge. And she'll have all of the ball's potential that was there from day one at my disposal.
