Question to Brunswick techician

From Total Inferno, the core in 12 and 13lb is differnt to 14-16lb.
It seems the Radical is the last one that all the weight are same core.
Is it due to the production move to Mexico or other reason ?

Actually, that's not true either, according to this.  None of the balls past the entry-level Power Grooves use the same core in the lighter weights.  The Infernos and BVPs share the same core (looks like a fatter version of one of the International Zone cores that Elite also uses in their balls), the asymmetric Zones use the old Time Zone/Warp Zone core.

SH, thanks your info. That means the drill sheet info in the box a wrong.
In our center, many female bowler and beginner use Big B because the core
are identical in all weight. I think they don't want to know the truth.

Zone72...you're right. before the move to mexico, cores shape was the same in all weights from 12-16. This is the primary reason my wife throws brunswick (older stuff). When she started getting into bowling i did a lot of research and found that only brunswick/lane 1/and morich kept the same cores in lighter stuff...lane 1 and morich both produced by brunswick at the time, don't know if that's related. anyway, i don't have any proof to speak of, but i am 100% sure of this. lighweight engineering was the title above the picture of all the cores. and the description talked about they're the industry leader in keeping core shape in 12 and up pounds. anyway, hope i helped.

and as far as the info that you posted shelly-they must have changed it after the move, because everything produced here in the states was the same core shape. hopefully someone from brunswick will clear this up for us.

b.t.w.-just so nobody reads this and takes it the wrong way, i'm honestly not being a jerk, or trying to make anyone made...just stating my opinion.

Matt, I think Big B should let somebody to answer our question. I buy the
A.I. to my GF also the same reason like you. Is it the Mexico problem or
they provide the wrong info to us.

the only thing that really bothers me about it is that take the fury for instance...for a lot of people (not me at the moment) this ball is a beast...hard hitting and carries great...especially for those who don't have a ton of hand. problem is...if i get my wife one...will it have the same hit/carry without the torsion core in it? probably not. the ball would be perfect for her...witht the torsion in it...but as far as the "lightweight core"...i don't know about it...and i'm not going to drop 200 bucks to find out about it.

Matt, that's a good question. Btw, many people said the cover affect the
ball reaction more than the core. If these true, why Big B emphasis their
lighweight engineering in the sheet. May be the above is right, but with the
same core is better than use different shape in light weight.

It appears to be recent.  The Nemesis and several of the discontinued Zones like the Classic and Impulse had the same core shapes down to 12#.  In the asyms, the strength of the asymmetry dropped at 12# and the RGs went up as the weight went down, but the core shapes were the same.  Check out the retired drill sheets for some of the more recently discontinued releases.

a made in Mexico. Do u think the core is same with 14-16lb? The drill sheet
of Radical in Big B website said they use the same core in 14-16lb. How can u
explain this.

Yes, I guees Ric can explain these. My GF's Radical is 12lb and the drill sheet
said it use same core like 14-16lb.

Back in 2005 when I bought my wife's 13lb Absolute Inferno all the illustrations showed the same core as all the higher weight AIs. Was this not true?
