Zone72...you're right. before the move to mexico, cores shape was the same in all weights from 12-16. This is the primary reason my wife throws brunswick (older stuff). When she started getting into bowling i did a lot of research and found that only brunswick/lane 1/and morich kept the same cores in lighter stuff...lane 1 and morich both produced by brunswick at the time, don't know if that's related. anyway, i don't have any proof to speak of, but i am 100% sure of this. lighweight engineering was the title above the picture of all the cores. and the description talked about they're the industry leader in keeping core shape in 12 and up pounds. anyway, hope i helped.

and as far as the info that you posted shelly-they must have changed it after the move, because everything produced here in the states was the same core shape. hopefully someone from brunswick will clear this up for us.
