you say you've had it for a year, right ? but, how many games are on it ? how is the coverstock prepped ? take it to your pro shop and have the oil extracted with the rejuvenator or revivor machine and then get the ball resurfaced---preferably with a haus-type machine. this will bring your ball back to "like new" condition. and like the others have said---this is one aggressive reactive ball. it needs oil up front to store energy for the backend.
