Title: Zone MR2 replacment
Post by: rmauerjr on February 11, 2004, 11:35:02 PM
CAn anyone give me the spec of this ball. I purchased it years ago when I was really into bowling.  This ball really works great for me but I want a new ball w/ the simular characteristics.

The Zone MR2 is purple reactive resin ( i think ) w/ Yellow letters on it and a yellow lighting mark next to the MR2.  If some one could tell me where to find information on his relic I would appericate it.

Also, Could someone explain to me about top weight and pin placement.  I'm a leftly that rolls a fast ball w/ medium revs in a medium lane house.  I work the outside in

That was an excellent ball in its price range.  Aggressive cover with a high RG-Med diff core.  Gave alot of late flare which was good for the heavy handed players.  Look at the Powergroove Chrome/Yellow or Green/Purple.  Those bite a little bit less than the Ice Blue one.
