This started just sometime in the last eight hours. Last night when I checked my messages, there was no problem. As of this morning , all new messages do not show the name of the sender. All that's there are the little symbols for profile, contact user, add to address book, and ignore user. Since it's the sender's name that you click on to open the message, and there is no sender's name, I can't open the messages. Bruce, this happened to me months ago, sometime shortly after you took over the site. We exchanged several messages about it without ever really figuring it out, if I remember correctly. After almost a week of receiving messages that I couldn't open, I quit saving them and just deleted them. Eventually, for reasons that I don't understand (maybe you do), sender's names began to appear again in my mail and I could open my messages again.
Anyway, the problem has returned. Most of my messages are just notifications from you that someone has responded to a forum post, so I can just look around at topics that I have recently posted in to see who may have responded. I hate to think, however, that someone has sent me a personal message that may warrant an answer and I'll never even know about it.
The problem could be with my work computer, but it wasn't doing this yesterday. If the problem shows up on my home computer when I turn it on tonight, I'll post back here with that info.
Shiv
P.S. I have a few messages saved in my box. The old ones still retain the sender's name--only the new ones don't have it.
