For the past several days, since about last Friday or Saturday, (Today is Wednesday, 6/19/13) I've been getting delays in responses from Ballreviews when I do 2 things:
1. Post a reply to a thread, and
2. When I do a fresh on the home page to see the newest posts/replies.

Normally either one of these actions takes 2 - 10 seconds.For the past few days it's bee taking 45 -90 seconds or longer to complete either of these two actions. For a web page this is a long time. I have not been having this problems with other bowling and non-bowling web sites.

FYI I have a brand new laptop, as of Monday, with a lot of resources and fairly rapid cpu. So this happened with both the old PC and the new PC. I use Mozilla Firefox.

For me the initial load of the home page is very slow, but once it is I can navigate around the site quickly.  A few days ago I deleted my temp files, cookies, etc. and it had no effect.  I use IE9 and Chrome at home, but IE8 at work has the same problem, so I'm assuming it's a site problem of some sort.

If using Firefox try add on Ad Block Plus 2.2.4 the ads will stop appearing which I would think slow down load times.  Just guessing.

This is an issue we're currently working on. Doesn't appear to be related to ads unfortunately (if it was I'd pull them till we could sort it out).
