« on: March 07, 2006, 08:34:49 AM »
What would you do about a bad seller
one that took your money and didn't send you a ball?
all and any suggestions will be considered.

Thanks for your time

it was a deal made on this forum?
seller said that he would send me the 2 balls when he got the money order
few days after i sent the MO out he called and said that he was gonna send out one of the balls, the other ball he had a 16# and not a 15# so i said, no problem just send it when you get it.  this was back on OCT. 27th 2005
i waited a few days called and messaged the guy he said that the ball was not in stock so i said it's ok just send it when you get it.
a month later i called and he refuses to answer his phone or messages thru BR.
been almost 5 months STILL NO BALL
left messages saying that i don't want the ball anymore, just want my money back, as you can guess, no response.

Don't deal with anybody who won't accept PayPal - otherwise you have absolutely no buyer protection.

Had a problem some time ago with a poster who ployed as a shop on in the northwest. 1)First thing i did was to try to locate the address through all internet capabilities. This would include any local businesses. Usually you can dig out a phone number through cross referencing. 2) Look up bowling associations in that area and local lanes including pro-shops. Contact proprietors asking if this person is a bowler in that house or is the name recognizeable. Local associations are usually very happy to help when you state that the person is frauding many people and is a bad representative of the area. 3) If you have any luck with either of the first two contact local authorities of that area. NY does have an Internet fraud division.

Note: I did see poster- Brian Green - had a favorable transaction with this guy. Check with him to see if all your details match his for name and origin.Never hurts to double up on details.

Good luck this one i believe to be pretty greasy. I got my equipment back as they were not as sharp as me and had some help from the site. (thanks Mumz) Also if you do get a lead do not tip your hand too early make sure they do not have an out before dropping the hammer.
