an apology to Edward Lee
« on: May 14, 2009, 11:21:35 PM »
I would like to apologize publicly, I made a great error on my part with bad commucation between my husband and I and becasue of it he sold some balls that I was selling to Edward Lee on me to a customer of his and at the same time I had forgot I had listed them on ebay. this of course makes me look very bad. i had given Mr. Lee a price lower then on ebay I have since removed the balls from my post and off of Ebay. Of course as I would be Mr. Lee is very upset with me, and I totally understand. This was a terrible undersight on my part I am very very sorry I have apologized to him several times. He as asked me to remove my post I am not going to do that becasue, I am an upstanding person I never conduct business this way , I made an error that will never happen again. i am posting this so everyone knows that it has happened and I would like to still conduct business here, So everyone can judge for themselves I do have a good rating on ebay and I am new to ball reviews and I made a mistake if any one would like to look me up my user name on ebay is the same DEBBYIAC, again I am very sorry to Mr. Lee. Thank you Debby

also just for the record no money had exchanged hands yet, between Mr. Lee and I but that still doesn't make it okay.

Here I am sitting here debating should I just be a gentlemen and let this go. But reading this post twice by Debby got my blood boiling again. Again there were no bad deal/seller or negative feedback but there are 2 sides to the story. Well here's mine, just short and to the point.

I asked Debby about 3 Global balls she had in her for sale post. We had excellent communication (through a few e-mails) as she provided pictures and information in a timely manner. At the same time I promptly relied back. Since she was local I asked for the price without shipping and that I can pick up the balls in person. She quoted me an excellent price and proceeded to close the transaction. I get an e-mail soon after that she was sorry and that her husband sold the 3 EXACT same balls I wanted at his proshop. I found that odd and asked her. She apologized and being the person I am, even though very upset let it go. I thought it was the end of it. I get home that night and check ebay for Global balls and guess what? The 3 same Global balls are on ebay. I then shot off an e-mail to her and asked about the ebay auction. Which I read her post and reply this morning. I told her please don't insult my intelligence and she ran a shady business practice. It's just too bad she removed the auctions otherwise I can show you when she listed them. There were definitely not listed when she said because I am checking ebay even at work everyday. I'm over this now but just needed to make everyone aware what you might be dealing with here. Whoever had positive transaction with her then good for you but not for me. What continues to bother me is she sold the exact 3 balls by her husband no other ones on her list. She has the exact 3 balls listed on ebay no other ones on her list and more importantly the other Global balls she has.
Sorry for the long read, but I am writing this person off.

I don't want to start a fued and If I was Mr. Lee I would write me off too.  and to one who has sold something on ebay yes the items did list yesterday afternoon but I had scheduled them to do that, I didn't want them to start late at night. I did say it did make me look very bad, and I never denied any of it, i'm the one who came forward and admitted to it, and not only did we sell those three he sold two more used balls that I didn't even have listed. he sold them to a Local school for there bowling team so the students could practice over the summer. I never said it wasn't bad timing. oh and I sold five balls off that list and three or four off my already plugged list. That is the only thing Mr. Lee is mistaken on. and I am truly sorry, it was a human mistake.

I only wish you the best Mr. Lee, and I hope you find the balls you where looking at.  I agree that everyone has the way they feel about it. But I did make a public admission that it happened. and I agree Edward Lee has a wonderful reputation here and I am only starting out, so I wanted to make everyone aware that I made a mistake. and I agree the case is closed.

Thank you for the kind words Wassa but please don't judge Debby like that. Like I said there was no harm or foul. I am not posting anything negative about her. All I wanted to do was tell my side of the story. Please deal with Debby if you can get a good deal

Doesn't remedy your actions.

“he sold them to a Local school for there bowling team so the students could practice over the summer.”

Had he given them to the students for free you could have possibly earned a pass. Edward Lee is a first-class seller and poster here, you, with your words and actions are not. Case closed.

Mr. Lee,

A class act, you truly are.

Not too many good folks like you around, unfortunately.
