Answering PMs...
« on: March 20, 2007, 01:25:11 PM »

I get a lot of this lately... I'll PM someone but never hear from them. It's happened to me at least 10 times in less than a month. A couple of times people have made an offer on my gear (sale or trade) then wham they disappear, never to be heard from again. However, I've had more issues with sellers who don't return PMs about their stuff for sale.

Folks, at least respond and say the gear is sold. Better yet, update your thread to state that the gear is sold, or just delete the thread. Finally, respond to the PMs! People are waiting for a response as they try to find specific gear.

OK, rant is over!

What? you want consideration AND respect? In today's world of you-can't-find-me, therefore you-can't-touch-me???
You've got to be kidding !!!

Suggestions for dealing here on ballreviews:
1. Deal ONLY with those who have positive feedback from people you know and/or respect. Otherwise, let them (non-positive feedback newbies) send money or ball first.

2. Post bad experiencs of any kind, such as non-responses, after a given period of time.

Another suggestion. Post feedback, positive or negative, so others can reference it. If you look thru a post from someone else, and you have had successful dealings with them, post it as a bump so others will know. I just bought a ball from gspot bowl and couldn't get a hold of him to check status. Another user vouched for him in his posting and we communicated back and forth. Turns out gspot had some trouble with frigidity, but because I had read from others about him, I knew I wasn't getting hosed. Bad weather was our only issue. I'd deal with him again in a heartbeat.

The common courtesy of a reply to an email would be nice as well.. I have send at least 10 emails the past few days with pics of balls I am trying to sell for a teammate and I have got 1, yes 1 response back, thats it!! If you ask for pics and don't like what you see, at least repond back and let the seller know you have no intentions of buying the ball..

also, don't ask for pics unless your serious about buying the ball..
