I just wanted to let everyone know that it appears that Adam is trying to do the right thing. I have no idea if I am the first, the last, or the only person to get a refund so far, but I felt that everyone should know that he finally did come through for me.
My refund came from a different Paypal account that belongs to his girlfriend, according to Adam. I received $140, which was all I was asking for. I saw in another thread that he was willing to refund the original amount plus extra, but that is not necessary in my case.
It is a shame that it took over a month, several threatening PMs and emails, and a tarnished reputation here at BR to have a resolution to this. Adam, thank you for doing the right thing. There are many people here that were taken advantage of, and it will take time to clean up the mess you made, but it appears that you are on the right track.
No one will hear from me again regarding this matter- it is case closed for me. I hope it will turn out the same for the rest of you who are owed refunds.
