beware of chucky555
« on: October 27, 2010, 07:55:49 PM »
chucky555 wanted a ball from me which is no big deal.  But here is the thing.  After exchanging PM's, he told me that he didn't have a paypal account(red flag #1).  Then he refuse to mail me a money order (red flag #2).  Then he sent me a PM stating that he would moneygram or western union me the money after I sent him tracking numbers (red flag #3).  He had some story about how he had been burned on this site many times before and that was the way he could make sure he wasn't burned.  (The whole deal reminded me of the lotto scams on the internet.)

Here is my deal. I offered the guy multiple ways to pay that are legit.  I offered paypal, money order, and even running a credit card over the phone at the bowling alley (since I work at the shop that all the product comes from). I can understand people getting burned and having trust issues, but I am on three different sites and have 100% feedback on all three.  Plus do people not realize that when you pay by credit card that you are automatically protected from whoever issues it.  All I as my signature states I am advisory staff member for Brunswick.  Which I think that when you have dealings you just hold yourself to high respect.  If you screw people it looks bad not just on you but on your pro shop and Brunswick.
Take this for what you will be I am just warning people before they take their time and to watch out.

Chucky555 used to do this under the alias of : charle555.  He beat me on a trade a few years back.  His real name is Charles Kenny.  He beats people all the time.  Stay away from him.   He''ll get his eventually, better yet I think he got his already:  a branded USA deadbeat.   If you read this Charlie, I dont need your Lanemaster Masterpiece, keep it!

I still do.  It's one of the ways you can check on a user before you make a transaction.  New users are hamstrung with no past transactions on profile but it's like that on eBay also.

When he was trying to work out a deal with me. He told me that he had been ripped from other people.  It looks like he was the one who was doing it.
