Beware of krenfro!! ***Update 4/4/07***
« on: March 15, 2007, 09:06:02 AM »
I bought a Spitfire from him last week and still no ball, no returned emails, no returned PM's and no returned payment!! It's been 12 days so I think I waited long enough to post feedback. Here's the link of his post;

I think he also took DT for some cash too. Buyer beware of this guy!!

I hope he delivers so I can delete this tread.

3-15-07 I was PM'd by Hex017 and he says that krenfro was hospitalized with an allergic reaction to pain meds. Hex017 is going to try to get me a full refund.
DT also never got his ball and Hex017 is looking into DT's ball too. I'm just updating the thread.

3-22-07  No signs of life from krenfro. He has not answered emails, PM's and no refund or ball. Hex017 said he talked to krenfro. He said that DHL has my ball. Well they must also have DT's Black Widow because DT has not received his either. It's been 19 days and it's time to do a Paypal dispute. I'll keep you updated.

***4-4-07  Received some info from Paypal. They finished their investigation and ruled in my favor. Unfortunately, krenfro cleaned out his account. Here's the Paypal claims details;

revs, thats not always true. This user (hogsharley) with paypal and the person stole hie money. Paypal will rule in your favor but they will NOT pull money back out of the sellers bank acount. I think that is bull. They have the ability to get you a refund, but won't do it. The only way you get money back is if they have money in thier paypal account which is highly unlikely if they where planning on ripping people off. There was a user a couple of years ago that stole almost $2,000 from people on here and very few if any got anything back. Paypal could care less if you get a refund or not, they already got thier money.

The funny thing about this is that I finally did get the Spitfire but not from krenfro. I got it from Vinny (the_bowling_ball_outlet). He gave me his old Spitfire that he no longer was using.

I'm still upset about getting ripped off but in life, sometimes you just have to live and learn. It was a $55 lesson.

I strongly suggest that everyone post feedback, both good and bad. Let's try to keep BR free of scammers and only deal with members with positive feedback.
