Black listed....  Fool us once.  Any chance payment was paypal via a credit card?  If so, report fraud to the cc company.

Thanks for posting this. We have a good thing with being able to buy, sell and trade on sites like this, but a couple of idiots make it harder for us all.

Please be clear----I offered Paypal or a check and he chose a check.

Hi everyone, thank you for blasting without hearing anything from the seller. The money was received, the ball was shipped. A confirmation has been sent to the buyer. Date expected was 10/15 with no update from USPS since 10/11??? I dont see how this is my fault.

The only reason I'm at fault----I havent logged into Ballreviews in a week due to A) Moving out of my parents house and away from my computer and B) moving to a new building at work and not being able to access the internet with bosses breathing down my neck.

Mr. Sewell----What do I have to gain from not sending you the ball? I can send you a screen shot of my bank account showing that I had my account charged by USPS? So I gained what? $10 out of this transaction? 15? I have bigger fish to fry than $10 or $15. If you want your money back, that's fine. Ship the ball back whenever the USPS gets the ball to you and you'll get your money. It wasnt me who did you wrong. Please be clear on that. Thank you.

By looking at this.....not sure this happened but will say anyone can create a label FedEx or USPS and not ship the ball.  Just because a label was created does not mean the ball shipped.

FedEx Ground is the way to ship.  Cheaper than anything out there with reasonable shipping times. Anyone can create an account and enter e-mail addy's for buyer and seller.  You will get an e-mail stating ball was tendered and received and any exceptions.

Not taking any side here. The only time I sent a ball (pack of 2) USPS was to Alaska as I was asked by the buyer to use for price purposes. It took 3 + weeks!
Estimate from FedEx was 8 days but 3 times as much!

I always put CONUS in anything I list.   FedEx Ground is way faster than USPS Parcel.  FedEx Ground is way cheaper than UPS with same service time.  Tracking is better with UPS and FedEx Ground.  Tracking at USPS can be poor.  You need to factor in size of package and weight.  If shipping to Canada or Alaska in this case I would only ship USPS but factor in time.

Back to original OP.  It would be interesting to know when label was created and ball actually shipped.   I had this happen to me on a recent transaction where I was the buyer.  Seller created label and it sat from Thurs to Monday afternoon before it shipped.   That's horse puckey.

I'm not worried about anyone taking sides. I just want Billy to get his ball. I had no use for it and therefore shipped it away. That's why I listed all of the equipment that I did. I understand the venom towards bad sellers and if I can do anything to make the situation right, I will.

The bottom line out of any transaction is to communicate. When an agreement is in place, it is the buyer's responsibility to send the money as stated. However, once the buyer has completed this, everything else is up to the seller. The seller must ship as promised, when promised, and communicate everything. With as many bad deals that have transpired on Ballreviews over the years, I would be upset as well if the seller did not send me the tracking number and could not be contacted for days. I would think immediately I was being scammed because of the other horrible deals on Ballreviews that I have seen. Thus, once you shipped, you should have sent the buyer the tracking number immediately. So, even if you were not on here for days or weeks, the buyer would still have the tracking number and could follow the progress without bothering you.

what is CONUS?
I hope we find out if the buyer gets this ball.
USPS especially parcel post is a very slow way to ship something.
I would recommend never ship USPS Parcel post.
FedEx and UPS are great

I read the heading and the warning thought it was was about the high scoring that comes from those occasionally high scoring no-thumbers!

Way off base!
