Well being the nice guy that I am I started a very large trade with this user even after I had mixed feelings going in. He claimed off the bat to have feedback form over 6 ot 7 users on here and all but one of them had't ever done business with him. Red Flag #1. Second he was willing to trade some buzzsaws for non buzzsaws of less value of course, Red Flag #2. There are several more red flags.

I guess I asked for this but I try and give everyone a fair shake. Well I ordered my balls 8 total and shipped them directly tuesday and i supplied him a tracking number the following day.

I have gotten nothing but excuses since, Promised to ship outon wednesday more than once then pushed it to thursday. Said he had a tracking number, then said his wife had a tracking number, then said he would ship my 5pm today. Well I still don't have a tracking number. What I do have is my 8 balls in route to an Azzhole. So I will try and get a hold of my shipment tomorrow before it gets to him on Monday.

Everyone here knows me and knows what kind of business man I am, I wish I could say the same for this user but I sure as hell can't. Now if he gets me a tracking number and I get my balls fine but I still won't ever deal with him agian and I hope nobody else will.

Well as requested by all of you and promised by me we have the following pics of the Awesome balls I received from BrunsStan/HokoKongo/BrunsJim/JojoDioko/The-Game or whomever was nice enough to send these balls.
**First in the Pic below you will find the label on the box with name and phone number.

**Next you will find Ball #1 a Columbia Aftershock of unknown weight I am guessing 15# note the excellent Plug Work and light use.

**Next we have Ball #2, which as you can see has slightly more games bowled on it and no logo's except remnence of a PBA Tour logo as you can find in the second pic, this balls Identity is a mystery.

**Third and yes it gets better we have a very nice Columbia Surge, I would estimate this one to have the least number of games as you can see from the pic there is little to no track whatsoever.

**Last but certainly not least and yes I did save the best for last, is the suspense killing you yet? We have a Used Danger Zone by Brunswick, the pictures speak for themselves I say no more.

Those are by far the worst plug jobs ever done.

Yes that ball with "PBA" logo on it is a Storm Blue Thunder.

From reading this post along with several others, it almost seems like buying/selling/trading on here isnt worth it anymore. I have been a loyal member to this site for over 4 years now and have done lots of buying/selling probably upwards of 50-60 balls total. I personally have never had a problem on either end and this is way before the "buyer-seller feedback section" was needed because 99% of the members at the time were honest and true to their word on transactions. Now it seems everybody is bashing everybody for deals falling through, getting hosed left and right, scamming and fraud. Of those from what I read, almost ALL of these deals are coming from "younger" people, under 21-22 years old (younger for I am all of 25) and some even under 18 which means they more than likely will not get into any kind of trouble except for their parents would do to them which is probably nothing.

An idea for this site should be 18+ (proof with credit card or something), charge an annual fee (nothing much like a few bucks, but only to prove that they are legal age), only ONE screen name is allowed and they are not allowed to change their name more than once a year. Must have a valid email address, valid ebay account name, and if possible a valid paypal account address. This way for buying/selling there are several ways of making sure a deal goes through and if something happens:
1st offense, suspended for 10 days
2nd offense suspended for 30 days
3rd offense, banned for life

Everytime all funds/equipment will be returned or else valid legal action can/will be taken by proper people, starting with the owners of the site. I could keep going on and on but I have probably already stirred the pot enough to get the offenders riled up. To all the true members who arent here to "screw" anybody else over on a deal, lets get something like this together. To all the members who are causing all these problems....make room on your ignore list for me because I am tired of this site slowly turning into a scam-fest.

OMG I am rolling on the floor, my secretary and my boss are wondering what the heck is wrong with me. This kid either had absolutely no brain or just hs no life and is desperate for something to do. This is just so sad really that some kid does this kind of stuff and trys to get away with it. Where are the parents?

That doesn't sound unreasonable, but it seems most of the scams occur during "trades." I haven't really seen a lot of rip-offs in buy/sell situations - I'm sure they happen, but most seem to be trades. Really, whats the best way to do a trade - ship your stuff and wait for the person to get it and hope they send their stuff? Most seems to be "you send me a tracking number and I'll ship mine." Thats all fine and dandy until somebody pulls the stuff that happened here and ships some junk. Very few people are willing to ship their stuff and "hope" that the other person is honest enough to do the same.

I don't have any better ideas - I would think that maybe if you were going to trade, you would have an idea of the value of the trade. One person would agree to "buy" a ball - the other ships with the agreement that if the ball is as stated they will then "sell" their half for the same amount. So, you are "trading," but really you are buying and selling, and at least then you have PayPal to fall back to if the items aren't as described.

That of course brings up problems with the PayPal system, etc. I think it would be great if there was a trusted member that would work as the middle man in a trade. Maybe somebody like Doug that both parties would ship the balls too and Doug would confirm the balls and conditions before forwarding them to the respective parties. This would of course add to the shipping charges, and I'm sure the person (Doug or whoever) would want to charge a small fee for their time. Not to mention the person would need space to store the balls and everything else.

***Note: Not trying to single out Doug - I don't know Doug, never dealt with him, but I have read tons of good stuff about him. Based on what I've read, I would feel comfortable shipping a ball to him to get my measurements, have somebody else ship a ball to him for him to plug and re-drill for me.

Just an idea that was kicking around in my head. I wish that I had the time to offer to be the person to be the middle man for these transactions.

Anybody unemployeed and looking for a way to themselves busy and make a little money on the side? Could this be a viable option???
