What's your deal when trading I wait to get the ball and then send mine to make sure im not getting stiffed. I just got your ball today im trading with two other guys and I told them I go slowed up with issue and they didn't press me like you are. I just got the ball at 4ish today. Im sending the ball out most likely tomorrow with the other guys. Im not here trying to rip off somebody for a ball. Relax.

well,
most trades aren't done that way..
you ship them at the same time if it's with an established member of ballreviews(5 yrs),with no problems..EVER.

That is for sure not OK if you where trading with me unless WE both agreed this is how it was going to work. ALL the trades I do are shipped same day period.. WE both then send each other the respective tracking numbers..

If you where worried about getting ripped off, you should not have done the trade..

Just my opinion..

I don't have a good feeling about this guy.  You ship the stuff at the same time, unless you've dealt with the person before and feel they are trustworthy.  It irks me when I ship something to someone and they wait to get a tracking # or the ball before they ship.

Hmmmm.....I see nothing in either profile with respect to users either has made a trade to.  If it were me, I'd first look for people you traded with that can vouch.  If nothing, then you'd be sending me your ball first!!

Bigz has been here for a little while whereas bragbowlin a much shorter time.

I would definitely hesitate when dealing with someone like that.  If anything, I'd expect the tracking number to go out first and then I'd get mine out the door that day or next.

If I know you or know of you, I'm more apt to trust it.

sounds like a deal i had with a mikeywg he agreed to trade me a supernova xp by lane 1 for my cherry bomb i just had gotten of a friend of mine i agreed to trade he stated he would send out his ball same way i was sending mine which is ups ground to get tracking on it.

i messaged him stating i was going to be shipping the ball out the following day as i can do this through my work

before i messaged him i got a message stating that he was shipping it a day and 1/2 passed he messaged said his wife sent it out on the 5th of may but didnt put confirmation on it, this right there threw up a red flag for me  as that tells me it was sent via USPS NOT UPS AS WE AGREED  therefore when i shipped my ball i had used my contact at ups to have the ball held at the closest ups center near his home until i knew the ball was delivered to me. he messaged me on sunday asking if it was recieved yet i said no not yet i stated to him i would wait a couple days and then proceed from there. if i dont recieve this ball by the end of the day on friday i will have my ball shipped back to me and to recover my expenses and time i will be sending a certifed notarized letter demanding payment for the original shipping, plus the re shipping and my waste of time and that he has 30 days to comply or face possible legal action.

just my 2 cents

I for sure wasn't trying to rip anybody off especially for balls. What would I get out of stealing balls I can buy balls so stealing is not something I need to do. I have a lot of stuff going on right now and if I would had known these things would have happened I would had postponed the trades until I could handle them. I couldn't get on ballreviews to keep them posted because I have a lot on me right now.

bragbowlin,

No one plans on having to take care of other people.  However, as with life, you take what you get and if it means some lumps, then if so deserved you take them too and learn from it.

If it were me, all it would take is a little email to tell me what's going on and I'd give you extra time to complete your deals.  Communication is the key and it doesn't take hours to log onto the computer, shoot off a quick PM and be done with it for that point.  If it means you sleep for 5 minutes less....then so be it.

I've got plenty of stuff going on between home, work and family stuff....and plenty to do with my son, but I still make it a point to try and keep things in place.

The balls should ship at the same time. But, remember, people are different, and you never know what they are going through.

I have had members on here ship me balls on my word alone, although I have been on this site for maybe a year. There are some users I would ship to without hesitation, knowing that they are going to perform.

If you are not sure, check their feedback with other users. Also, get a clear understanding, confirmed by email, before you ship, if you are not comfortable.

Brag,

Your reputation has got to mean something to you. An old friend once told me, your reputation is just like virginity, you can only lose it once, then its over.

Why don't you man up and take care of this situation? You were responsible for getting the ball delivered. It has not happened. Make it right.

BTW, I am not a young dude. I have been around a while. Being patient is one thing, but this is ridiculous.

Yeah, Crusher, we know you got your ball.  Strikeking has been waiting since April 23rd.  I believe he's shown plenty of patience.  Keep defending him though, it tells us a little something about you.

Dude,

My dad always says, if you are hungry, and you have an apple with a rotten place on it, eat the good part and throw the rest away. Less you may starve or miss out.

There are some class acts on this site, and some azzes on this site. Use the good info and good connections, IGNORE the sleezes.

StrikeKing -
You may want to look at some of the suggestions given to azguy under the cheeks300 feedback post. http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=197678&ForumID=71&CategoryID=5

Police, IC3, etc. could/should be contacted.

Also, if any part of the transaction was done through the US Post Office, then you might have a shot at a mail fraud charge against him.

Do you feel it is appropriate to post BragBowlin's name since he may change his user ID on this site?

I did post his name and address once, but here it is again:
Ron Williams

As for reporting him, he's not worth the trouble. It cost me a used bowling ball and $13.56 postage. That's why I called him a "petty thief".

Maybe, but if you don't report him, he'll feel free to pull this kind of stunt again. Where's the negative reinforcement needed to help him "learn" to make better decisions?

I understand it's not about the money or the ball, but it should be about the principal of not allowing people to be ripped off.
