Is this one of his names? I have seen this guy post negative feedback against him. just wondering. I have seen it listed, but my transaction has gone smooth.(so far)
I will be home in an hour to see that impulse that was shipped to me using PAYPAL.... the best part is that if he fu-cks me over, I can fight it throughh paypal and get his real identity....

good luck dealing with paypal.. I have had nothing bud bad luck dealing with them on refund issues.. Unless this brunsjim guy was verified and has a confirmed address, they will do nothing to help you out..

glad paypal worked for you...screwed me as the seller. I sold a cd player, sent it out...first flag was this guy lives in canada but wanted it shipped to his shop in the U.S. Ok..neither address was verified per paypal, but were listed(since he was in canada, I guess they couldn't, at least they were not able to then). So guy gets his radio, and then I get a refund request from paypal saying I never shipped the item. They wanted me to give them the tracking # to a confirmed address. I gave the tracking # I had, which was signed BY HIM, but since it wasn't confirmed, they would not accept it. So they wanted me to refund them. I refused, and kept talking to people at paypal, but to no avail. Since it wasn't a verified address, they wouldn't accept it. Bottom line...the guy never got his refund, cause hey, he got his radio, but I can't use paypal anymore.
Good luck though. Maybe my case was the exception, either way...I am none to pleased.

yeah, I was in shock. I had the tracking # and signature. But to no avail. I don't know what else they wanted from me.

For total protection, you have to use a full escrow service. They hold the money while the person has a 2 week inspection time of the items. Then they send the money, so if the item is not up to snuff, you can send it back and get your money back. Good times.

Well i got the ball on friday. I was told this ball had less that 20 games on it. Well it looked like it had 200 games on it. All beat up tracked out and in sh!tty condition. And it was shipped in just a bowling ball box. not double packaged and no padding.
I will be contacting paypal today. I have PMed him and we will see what happens.

That guy is scum!
For what its worth, PayPal is very up front that as a seller you have no protection if you choose to sell (and ship) to an UNCONFIRMED address. In order to get a CONFIRMED address you have to provide a checking account or credit card and use the mailing address associated with the account.
I have never had any problems with PayPal and hope I never do. They actually gave me a refund on a GPS unit I won on ebay - the guy offered free ship with Buy it now. I bought it and he claims to have shipped it - I never received it and he didn't use any tracking (claimed I didn't pay for insurance or tracking - he never asked me, and PayPal is very clear that as a seller you have to have proof of shipping and a tracking number). I got my money back - took a couple of weeks, but at least I didn't lose $100!
I know some people have said that PayPal refunds don't work if the person withdrawls the funds - I don't know if that is true or not, but I think if you can prove it, they will deduct from the person's account.
Anyways, just my 2 cents. I'm sorry people around here are trying to screw people over and I wish there was a better system for buying/selling/trading, but as with everything, some people will choose to live with no integrity.
