The Black Cherry was delivered to Doug's Pro Shop in NY on Tuesday and was delivered to San Diego on Thursday.  I had it drilled by Friday ready to test.  

I always ask for 3 inch pins and I want 3.  I know they come 2-3 or 3-4 but I really like 3 inch pins.  When Lane 1 drop ships I almost always get 2-3 even though I ask for 3-4 because I'd rather have 4 then 2. Yes, most of the time they are closer to 2.

Doug shipped me a 2-3 and as soon as I seen it, I was concerned, opened the box, it was a 3 inch pin with 3 oz of top.  My requested specs exactly.  He had to open the box to get the specs that close.  Thats truly going the extra mile and a true professional.  

Only one other person went through the trouble of pulling the ball out to check specs and that was Pchee2.  I'd gladly pay the extra money to have a professional make sure I got the ball I wanted.
