If I remember correctly, was the shop that was going out of business called Strike Out bowling supply that he was trying to help out?

If so, check out this ebay store, which according to one of the auctions, is located on the east coast:

Looking at the previous sold items in the feedbqack, the location of the seller was Hilton, NY. The new auctions show East Coast.

Hilton was the location of the proshop.

Isnt that supposed to be spelled 'Strikeout'?  I dont understand why a business would misspell their own name?

He was definitely acting like he was from Vegas. He was threatening to get so-and-so involved if so-and-so ever came to Vegas and tried to cause trouble for him.

That's interesting, so many people from upstate NY. I'm in Rochester.

And yes, it was supposed to be Strikeout Bowling Supplies as he was quoted in the following link:

He was in Vegas bowling in some of the High Roller type tournaments but he wasnt from there.

Well...it is Tuesday, feb 21.  Sadly, it appears I have been screwed by this guy.  Been waiting since a week ago Monday for a tracking # on my returned money order for $94.   Not a single, solitary word from the guy.  Really makes it unfairly difficult for new members to do business because of situations just like this.  I have requested a refund from Western Union on a stolen money order complaint, which will take 30 days and cost me a fee.  Nearly not worth the hassle.  I tried, against forum opinion, to give the guy a chance to do the right thing.  Guess that will teach me a lesson.  I still have the address info from where I FedEx'ed (another $20 lost) him the money order.  Perhaps someone in that area can make some inquiries?  I would steer clear of this guy, both here and on Ebay.

always trust your first instinct. He told me he was bowling the ptq in akron march 1. i'll be  there.

bwlr7 why dont you fix your store name on ebay??? I hope you prove me wrong and at least give Darren back his money, do the right thing and take care of the only bad deal you have on here so far. I hope that you show up to bowl rev-o and show him him you are real, so pm him your real name and show up.

ps- i am still waiting for the silver diamond you said that you would ship me when you were posting under peelinonit hahaha bye pal

Strikeout is spelled wrong just a small error or what??? That is a small red flag to all of us watching your feedback scores???  What is screwed up is i would have met you verified you after looking at you license and would have bought 2-3 balls from you. I did attack you first but when you overreacted it makes me believe you are Phil McMurdy from past posts between him and me. So you choose to tell me to stay away and tell me the police would be called if i had come near you. I could have met you and been a man face to face told you i was wrong if i am and this board would have known i was telling them the truth and i was wrong. Now you still have nothing proving that you are real and there are many new yorkers on here who could meet you and know that you are not PHIL. I find this interesting and i would have been first to admit being wrong but you freaked out, trust me if i wanted to find you i could have but i decided to let it go because of you police threats. So let another BR member meet you and verify you to be a real person besides PHil???? Get back to us with an answer to this or go scam on ebay or another board.
