Post by: lilmike2782 on April 28, 2004, 10:12:10 PM: here's the thing, my brother is over and he is a lawyer... regardless if this is a public internet site and there are no contracts involved with deals, you are still bound by oral contract and there is proof on here. crazy11, you lied about who you were, you sent a money order in someones elses name and didn't sign it, you told me you were jimbo. you can actually be prosicuted for things like this. i am just an innocent bystander, but crazy you have dug yourself a 50 foot hole and will never get out of it, as for kleetus or anyone associated with "matt" should cut all ties to him and do nothing for him again, regardless if you were trying to help him, yes you are now involved and he is ruining your name, and to fight back is not worth it. "matt" whoever you are, your best bet would be to leave and never come back, before someone does something about it and i mean that in a legal way.

Matt, you have rubbed many people on here the wrong way. If you have a disagreement with someone currently, take care of it to the best of your ability. In order to make people think you are not a thief is to do well by your word. As of right now, most of the people here have every reason to believe that you are a thief. Take care of the hole you have dug yourself into.

Shaggy got ripped off back when I did. You still have not done right by him. It is time to step up and be a man. Take care of the situation you have yourself in.

You don't change a reputation just by changing usernames. In fact, changing names without significantly changing day-to-day practices is what we in the criminal justice field call a con artist. The biggest problem I have, is another ballreview member helping him by letting him use his address and shipping things for him, AFTER what Matt pulled!!!!

Perhaps this again needs to be sent to his parents, or like last time e- mailed to his father.

See I have a $111 money order here for a used Golden Nugget that Matt wants. Maybe I need to send the $$$ to Shaggy instead and keep my Nugget.

I (along with tha fluffer) were the ones that have been turning him in before, and giving out his phone number, addy, even his proshops number (so he wouldn't drill any stolen balls). He had a few good deals on here before this, and this went sour. I turned him in. Sorry if thats a problem. One thing I'm pretty upset about is that he was telling people he was me and using my mail address to mail money orders with (or so I've heard). I ship/have shipped stuff for a few people on this site, most live in Canada and I do it do save them shipping charges. As for Doug's idea, I think that would be a good idea. It's not like I'm the only person on here that knew him either. I can think of 4 people from around my area that I know know him and knew he was on the site. I've had nothing but great deals on this site, and I'm keeping it that way.

Others should not have to wait for their funds for your inability to follow through on an agreement. Let your parents be the ones that wait however long for you to pay off the debt.

Was that another ball that you were trying to steal or did you not have it. The problem with people like you (MATT) is that this forum is for a community of bowlers to get along and try out new equipment by trading. You have pretty much ruined that concept for me trying to trade with other newer members. Now I will only stick to certain people. It's not like bowling if a very profitable sport for most people. Most people that just bowl in leagues or every once in a while bowl in tournaments don't make any money at all or very little. Bowling is a lot like short track racing. You have to buy your bowling balls, get them drilled, most people do not drill there own, then bowl with them. In both hobbies you spend lots of money and don't win squat... Honestly what kind of money can the average person make? Not much we all bowl for fun. Then we have people like MATT who offers trades to people who want to try a different ball with no intentions of trading anything. So that is what is even more frustrating. I have never made a deal with you but have read up on the post for you. If my kids did what you are doing I would make sure they would never be on the computer again. Again just my 2 cents worth. I have no sympathy for you even if you are making everything right because you are only making it right because you know there are several lawsuits that can be coming against you.

It isn't just a cool thing to have. We can't go to mommy and daddy to get money and if you don't get it from them you still survive you have what you need paid for by them. Everytime you rip somebody off you are stealing away from what might be the money they need to survive. Glad Shaggy didn't need his money the last 6 months. While you were buying more balls and crap like that he had nothing. Hope you enjoy.

It would seem that you should already have had it from the prior agreement(s) that you had with him...that said, given that he may not be following the thread, have you bothered trying to PM him? Even if he wasn't logging on each day, he would get an email notification about a pending PM in his box.

Shaggy, you make a valid point. I don't think you should listen to anything he says. But I think his mommy would have to sign the agreement too...the kid could try and come up with something to say you stole his money, and his parents would convince everyone else that "he's just a kid" and didn't know what he's doing and that you guys were trying to take advantage of him...Just watch out, it's all I can tell you.

Anyways, good luck to all who are trying to work through this (except "crazyb*stard--uh, 11" or whoever he calls himself right now....)

I told him it is time for him to be a stand up guy. That taking care of his debt to Shaggy (even if it were only $25-$30 at a time) would be a good way to start taking care of the wrongs he committed in the past. $25-$30 at a time may not have been great----but it certainly is better than getting nothing. It was a step in the right direction for Matt.

I also stated, if he corrected all of his wrongs and decided to start dealing again-----and people were willing to do so with him-----that he would have to understand in a trade that he would have to ship first so the person can get the item, then ship to him. In a purchase situation, send the money first (no questions asked) and once the money is there then the item be shipped to him.

I bashed matt as much as anyone has, and I still do not fully believe that he held up his end of the bargain with me. I got past it though, because he atleast did his best to try to settle with me, and is doing so with Shaggy.

I apologize.....I do not normally take a liberal stand in things, but for some reason today I have leaned that way. If he does right with everything, and takes the money from Doug and pays Shaggy......that shows some manhood, some maturity.

That didn't work out so well and some people had to fight tooth and nail to get all or some of their money back. I do agree not to do business with brand new people who only frequent the Wanted/For Sale board. At least if they contribute to the other forums for a while, you get a feel for their character. You might still get screwed, but the chances are probably reduced.

BUT... at anytime these people could screw me on something. but i trust them until that day comes IF it ever does. i hope it doesn't but i TRUST them.

you have ever right to angry if someone screws you over and to tell everyone, that is why the feedback forum is there. if you get screwed tell everyone, bit@h about it, call them names, call their mom a name if thats what makes you feel better, just don't make a bad experience with one person ruin it with another. and what i mean by that is, don't make the newcomers feel like crap and say "you're new, i don't trust you" if you don't want to make a deal with them cause you don't trust them, then don't. but don't just do it cause they are new. some people on here have been screwed and then say "i am never coming on here again and i don't trust anyone" but then i see them post something 3 days later.

its just my opion on this, i am not trying to tell anyone what is right and what is wrong, for all i am concerned i could be wrong.

but this is about crazy MATT so lets just keep on him until he is gone for good. cause one screw up shame on you, two screw ups digging a hole, three or more its time to go.
