Hi everyone,

I tried to do business with a scumbag named Steve Wasilewski. He lives at 344 East Main St in Nanticoke, PA. He advertised a Big Blue and a Big Blue Pearl used and I bought them using his Paypal account for $130. After a month of excuses, they never arrived. His email address is squbasteve69@adelphia.net. If that is a registered user, I'd suggest revoking his membership. Beware of this sleazebag (3 ...bags in one post, impressive, eh?).

I was not going to post anything until I had it resolved but now that I have seen this post I feel I am at least entitled to post this -- I'll let you readers make your own decisions about future transactions.  Steve Wasilewski---"Waz" --- ball review name hammerheadinnepa ----

I sent an e-mail and told him I wanted the Big Blue Pearl -- we worked out the freight and it was to be $87 w/freight.  I send the money order 3/29.

4/6 send him a follow up --- he tells me no money received.

4/13 I start a tracer with the post office -- this takes 7-10 biz days after inquiry is received in St Louis, they tell me.......
5/6  Post office tells me no copy yet but give me 800# that I can now put M/O # in and trace--- automated system tells me IT WAS CASHED 4/5

5/6 sent e-mail telling him it was cashed 4/5-- does he still have the ball-- what it status??  Gosh he tells me, my daughter has been sick -- that could have happened, oh gosh, aw shucks, etc............SO WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO-- SEND ME THE BALL OR REFUND MY MONEY???

His reply -- why don't we wait for the actual copy to reach me -- then send him an e-mail with an attachment ----showing signature

"Not my signature on there as per i do not sign my name like that...i can give you prove [sic} if you need...i do have an older step bro who steals from people in ym [sic} house...but that is my id which he has used before to do thing on my name if you want i can get the postsaal [sic] inspectors here invoilved [sic] so that we can get this matter resolved"

I have copies of all the e-mails, etc ----  AT THIS POINT IN TIME I AM NOT SAYING THAT WHAT HAS TRANSPIRED IS NOT TRUE.....HOWEVER:
1) NOW I PLAY THE FOLLOW-UP GAME WITH THE POSTAL AUTHORITIES PROVIDED I GET AN ANSWER FROM STEVE W GIVING ME HIS STEP BROTHER'S FULL NAME
2) I BELIEVE PEOPLE ON BALL REVIEWS SHOULD BE NOTIFIED OF THE FACT THAT THIS GUY OBVIOUSLY HAS A PAPER-WORK PROBLEM:  A) I SENT THE MONEY ORDER TO THE ADDRESS HE SPECIFIED; B) IF HIS STEP BRO HAS DONE THIS BEFORE WHY HASN'T HE TAKEN ANY STEPS TO SAFEGUARD WHEN/WHERE THE MONEY COMES IN ----

Based on the above information, I simply ask that everyone use this information to make an informed business decision about doing business with this person in the future.  Who and where you send your money to is a decision we all have to make for ourselves.  Should any significant events transpire in the future I will be more than happy to update this post.

If he has a relative that has done this kind of thing before (possible, but sounds like a lame excuse), he should still send you the ball or refund your money.  He's already made you jump through a few hoops.  It's his responsibility to extract the money from his step brother.

RACERX .. there are TWO BR members that have bought the same BALL and neither one has received it .. one paid by PAY PAL and the other by M/O .. looks like this SELLER is one to stay clear of .. if the SELLER is having the problems he talks too .. you would imagine he would have the POLICE look into his STEP BROTHERS actions AND GET HIMSELF A PO BOX .. unless he is AS EXPECTED .. a FRAUD!

UPDATE --  Steve Wasilewski has promised to reimburse me for the $90 -- in addition, he has responded to my e-mail(s) requesting additional information concerning the step brother.  I will be faxing the U.S. Post Office in Saint Louis (the money order branch) next, and sending them the information they requested.

Might as well give everyone an update. As you can see from my last post, Steve Wasilewski promised to refund my $90 on 5/19.  My son got married 5/28 so I have been a bit busy with other matters.  Here it is 6/4 and no money.  I sent him an email earlier today and asked him if he "forgot" to send the $$ -- no response yet.  I'll also let you know what kind of feedback I get from the post office in case anyone else has to go through this kind of a  problem.
